Some Real Good Lively Blues Anyone? - 2008/04/04 08:14
Who would like some Real Good Lively Blues?
Thursday I worked on updates to The Ritz "V.I.P. Room" section of the website, to place an artist name Jason Ricci in our "Coming Attractions" event line up. I did a little online research to learn more about his Blues accomplishments and awards, and was very surprise to find him listed in Wikipedia:

Even more delightful, as you will learn like I did from Wikipedia, he is part of our world and one of us, Openly Gay !!!
Jason Ricci, who's in his early 20s, is just phenomenal as you will hear from his MySpace and his Website
He is the winner of 2005 "Muddy Waters Most Promising New Blues Artist Award" and 2007 "Gibson Best Blues Artist" To simply google him bring up several hits of complimentary praise for his artistry and talent in Blues.
I am looking forward to his performance, which will be on Tuesday April 8th at The Ritz.
